Between my two dogs, it's hard to tell who now "lives" a plushier life? Lets first look at their backgrounds. Clifford, clearly comes from a "plush" background , it's kinda in his DNA (if you follow me) and has been celebrated for years as a special friend-and friendship, being loved as "kid's best friend" has it's benefits. Or Abby my adopted Airedale who somehow ended up in a pound (we have no idea why such a sweet, adorable dog would) but thank goodness found her way to the Westchester Airdale Rescue then to a foster home before becoming the newest Medney family member.
So i guess the answer is, backgrounds can be misleading in terms of future success or a future filled with the good, plush life. And, what is the plush life anyway? I think it's about being loved, being held tight and held in high esteem(think: LAST-Love, Attention, Security, Trust). So whether it's occassionally being "dolled-up" like Abby or being just a doll like Clifford, it's hard to say who isn't now living the plush life. To this end, i think they would both bark in agreement.
