The Bridge to Somewhere!

by Administrator 3. November 2008 04:47

While much of Sarah Palin's early days as VP nominee was defined by the "Bridge to No-where" issue...today's ROP (11/3/08) is a metaphor for life that is pretty clear. Bridge building is the art of connecting-be it land or people. The irony is on the literal front, people often pay tolls for using a bridge, but on the human front people pay much bigger tolls for not traversing or building them. I just think the earlier in life you are able to learn the value, the core reality of relationship building (or at least not blowing them up) and understanding why the "Golden Rule" rules, the more potential happiness and joy awaits.

So the only point i really wanted to make is simply this: given nobody has a crystal ball about tomorrow-especially tomorrow, Nov. 4th- realizing bridges sometimes cost money, they sometimes are filled with traffic, they are often part of a long commute...and yes, they sometimes lead to nothing (to quote Gov. Palin)-the reality is the more bridges you build and teach your kids, employees (anyone you care about!) to build, the more places there will clearly be to go in life!

Talk about a trip!

About Cliff

It's about 1 to 10 and one per day. No, not the scale, or the odds or even the prison sentence, but a different kind of measure… I have One year until my Ten year anniversary of surviving a near fatal heart attack. Given I made through rheumatic heart decease as a kid and have been a insulin dependent diabetic for years, it's a special time and there's no way I'm not going to celebrate just how special it is and how lucky I am!
