Ever since i met Dale Carnegie through his famous course and surregate teaches as a senior at the University of Georgia, i have never stopped being a student of and enthusiastic participant in public speaking- including, but not limited to passionately pitching my guts out for great clients or new business. But i realized today, i am no match for my beloved rescued Airedale, Abby.

I have no doubt, 99 out of 100 of you would agree if you saw five year old Abby "pitch" her new neighbor Otto, a "hot" two year old Airedale superstar you would see the power of just going for it! She was so compelling, so "authentically" in the moment. You have to remember, dogs are people too (selling what needs to be sold, begging for what needs to be begged) and conversly, people on their better days, are dogs too. So the next time you see a spirited dog giving a spirited pitch... cheer, applaud for all that it is- rather than say shut the hell up!
