So real quick, over the past few months, i have been fortunate enough to land a range of consulting opportunities-running new product sessions, marketing "re-think" think tanks and creating marketing concepts and branding/campaign language. I've done it totally under the radar screen as i was more focused on moving my book concept/property "Cueless" forward, as well as, looking for the "perfect job".
I am still looking for the "perfect situation"- maybe divine intervention again appears, but who knows. But maybe it happens differently. Maybe through partnering, maybe through creating a new business proposition or platform in an existing company. My openness to this "clarity" led me to name my little consulting "swingset" after just doing it under my own name. I felt it deserved a name of its own, given it has been feeding my family including Abby's addiction to premium biskees for a while. The name needed something that conveys insight/ideas (as that is my fuel) and something with me in it. Not me from an ego point of view, me cause i'm all there is doing it...i don't find the "solo artist" who presents/packages themselves like a Fortune 50 company, all that cool. So i called my "global marketing innovation creativity ideas make transformative leaps possible" company of one, IC. IC means many things from its inspiration of Idea Cliff (like "what's the idea, Cliff?) to Ideapreneur Consulting (selling ideas, but not selling out...out of ideas or integrity) to Insightful Concepts. Companies are looking for idea centered innovation, strategically founded thought leadership ideas to ensure they don't fall off the proverbial cliff in these turbulent times, which could mean they possibly fall into my world "on the cliff".
You see, IC the glass always 2/3rd full. So maybe as i continue to scratch my niche, something big will happen! We'll C!!!
