Don't Get Snack-adaisical!

Love Snack baby love Snack!

Yesterday, i was eating a bag of chips and was wondering if a whole potato-as in 1 whole potato-went into the bag. Like a full scoop of raisins in a box of raisin brand. Given the less than 2 ounce serving size of the bag, it probably wasn't close. But it got me thinking about an already fascination with snacking.

There’s a lot of uncertainty in the world today—political unrest, the sagging housing market, and any number of economic issues weighing heavily on all our minds. It’s natural to feel overwhelmed. This is a time of sacrifice and belt-tightening. So much so that on your next trip to the grocery shopping, you may feel tempted to forgo your favorite snack brand in favor of one that’s a little cheaper or lures you with some tempting offer...say bonus ounces! Please, do everything in your power to resist that temptation, because it’s precisely times like these when you need your beloved snack most. Simply put, this is no time to get snack-adaisical, to drop your guard, to forget who you love to dance with at parties or at home on the couch. This is no time to sacrifice the comfort and reassurance that your favorite snack can provide. It's not like i'm snack-obsessed, but i'm pretty close.

Like today's Rhyme of Passion, in these crazy "transformational" times, things change fast. But holding on to somethings, especially the little things is smart. Yeah, hold on to your dreams, but if that fails or gets delayed, at least you've got your favorite snack! Now how comforting is that!!!
