Today's Rhyme of Passion (4/16/09) "Dreams to life is like snow to slush, it's all a watering down process" was an ode to reality and a grand stand to continue the good fight-despite the gravitational pull that inherently tries its hardest to do earth's business. As a life long optimist, i have learned the importance of not just straight talk, but seeing things straight. Seeing life for what it is and seeing people for who they are, is one of the most positive things we can do. It provides clarity, honesty as to what we as individuals face.
Life waters down many of our dreams, for whatever legit. reason, if you give in to the flow. I am not concerned that many of my early dreams (the NFL at 51, is not looking good) will stay at best etherial, but i would be concerned if i didn't have more dreams yet to be watered down!
