No De-sleaze of Seperation

by Administrator 11. December 2008 00:21

Is there any difference between the outrageous self interest acts by certain senior managers of the bailed out financial and auto companies and the revelations of corruption by the Illinois Governor? It's an indictment, as pure and incriminating as any legal instruement against the Gov for anyone seeking (or even accepting) a "$10,000,000 bonus" like the CEO of the financial services firm yesterday while his firm and industry is bleeding cash, people and their future.

"Greed my lips" politicians, self indulgent financial services managers/manipulators and maybe business people in general and maybe people in general are pretty much the same when it comes to being fair and honest. The rotten apples just seem to be out numbering the good ones these days. If Global Warming could cause the end of the livable world, profound sleaze will be the end of our society as we know it. Societies have crumbled throughout history because of corrupt leaders, now with the inter-connectness and speed of business, politics, the world (and of course You Tube), we need a few really good men or women to get it, without taking it, PDQ.

If not, there will be no degrees left to seperate anything good from anything like sleaze!

About Cliff

It's about 1 to 10 and one per day. No, not the scale, or the odds or even the prison sentence, but a different kind of measure… I have One year until my Ten year anniversary of surviving a near fatal heart attack. Given I made through rheumatic heart decease as a kid and have been a insulin dependent diabetic for years, it's a special time and there's no way I'm not going to celebrate just how special it is and how lucky I am!
