"Talk About an Experience"

by Administrator 29. October 2008 23:45
Today's ROP was written from the perspective that nobody is perfect, every one of us can live a better life, be a "better person" by being open to "being open". On so many things, it is so easy to think we got it right in how we view something. The ... [More]

What Makes Sense

by Administrator 23. October 2008 02:00
I wrote today's "Daily Rhyme of Passion" (is this an oxymoron-today's/daily??) about coming to "our senses" pretty soon after my open heart surgery in early 2000. I had a lot of time to reflect on how to experience the world moving forward and what i would need to do... [More]

Mild-stones and going the extra Mile-stone

by Administrator 21. October 2008 03:29
Clearly not everything we do in life is a big deal. We may try to make it "big", but in most of our lives, we have way more what i'll call "mild-stones" than ultra defining, truly memorable "mile-stone" events. That's life, literally. My daughter's Sweet 16 w... [More]

Taking a Good Look at Yourself...

by Administrator 15. October 2008 23:37
I did. So what if it is a caricature of myself on a t-shirt.  Sometimes doing the most literal thing, like putting on a t-shirt with yourself on it (i know it's strange, but i never said i wasn't!) gets you thinking about doing other things, literally!   Like how you op... [More]

Today's Rhyme of Passion is about one thing Passion!  Now while i originally wrote the line to read: "Passion is what we pass i on to others by living it ourselves"...it didn't quite get played out that way.  Instead it reads, "passion is wh... [More]

Timeless and Less Time

by Administrator 10. October 2008 12:20
Today's "Rhyme of Passion" was about my family's yesterday.  It featured my mom and dad from a photo circ. 1945.  In uniform, he was all airforce navigator, later in life, actually to this very day, a navigator of different kind. A retired business man, a... [More]

A Re-Vault Against the Machine

by Administrator 7. October 2008 10:35
Years ago my wife Josana created a special cabinet for my "special ideas"- actually any ideas, old magazines, etc.  Nonetheless, I named it the Idea Vault.  I thought with Josana's wonderful and under-utilized art ability and my desire to have an aspirational depository for m... [More]
